Founded in 2010, Kinry Food Ingredients Co., Ltd. integrates R&D, production and sales, focusing on the field of natural food enzyme preparations and functional food ingredients. The company’s headquarter is rooted in Shanghai, its strategic layout radiates to the world, and overseas branches have been set up in Europe, Southeast Asia and other places to build a global operation network. Relying on a complete small-scale R&D, pilot scale-up and large-scale production system, Kinry not only provides high-quality products for partners, but also customizes personalized solutions for them.

Kinry Food was founded in Shanghai, embarking on its journey with a vision: achieving higher-quality food. This mission propelled the BIOBOND® brand’s innovative exploration.

2013 Production Base

A 60-acre factory in Shandong Province significantly expanded production capacity, ensuring reliable product supply.

2016 R&D Center

The Nanxiang R&D base (established 2016) accelerates technological innovation, reflecting our commitment to R&D investment.

2008-2012First brandBiobond® was born, Kinzyme® showed up

In its early days, Kinry rapidly introduced the first brand Biobond with sharp market insight, laying the foundation for the company’s growth. Following technological breakthroughs, Kinry trademarked Kinzyme (liquid enzymes), enriching its product portfolio.

2016PatentedExclusive patented invention

Through sustained commitment to brand protection and technological R&D, Kinry  secured breakthrough patents including one for liquid enzyme preparations, and achieved a transformative leap from its founding to technological breakthroughs.

2018Brand caseBiobond®: Vigilantly Guarded

Novozymes sought cancellation of our Biobond® trademark registration before China’s CNIPA. After 10 months of legal proceedings, Novozymes voluntarily withdrew its petition. The case was closed.

2018-2020Global patentGlobal patent protected

Kinry has secured 48 patents globally, with grants issued in seven countries and regions including Europe, Russia, Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, the Philippines, and Brazil.

2023Patent caseWon the patent infringement case

DUPONT filed an opposition against Kinry’s European patent on 9 June 2021. Following multiple rounds of hearings and written submissions over eighteen months, we secured final victory on 17 November 2023: the patent granting is maintained and this positive evaluation strengthens the patent.
